Our Story

From a single construction firm
to a company that connects smiles.

Rooted in the wish to “bring a smile to even more people,” and building on the trust cultivated through construction, we have expanded our steps into real estate, food service, and overseas business.

Challenges come with failures. But a life of taking on challenges is more interesting than one without them. We aim to be a company that never fears change, never forgets gratitude, and acts more than anyone.

Founder's Story

Building trust through craft,
and shaping the future through encounters.

I entered the world of construction at eighteen and trained as a carpenter for eight years.
On site, I learned not only the craft of building homes, but also how to face customers, the responsibility of a craftsman, and that “work is something that touches people’s lives.”

As I honestly built up one job after another, my wish grew stronger: to stand closer to the customer and take responsibility for creating homes and spaces from start to finish. So I decided to go independent, and founded Omori Koumuten.

In our early days, centered on renovation work, we devoted ourselves to each and every request and built relationships of trust with customers and partner companies.
Along the way, I realized something. The worries our customers carry are not only about construction work.

Housing. Creating shops. Making use of real estate. Taking on new ventures. Connecting with the community through food. And expanding business overseas.
Life has many turning points. We want to be a company that stays close to those turning points and supports people through them.

With that wish, Omori Koumuten has grown beyond the frame of a construction company, continuing to take on new challenges in real estate, food service, the Malaysia business, and more.

One wish runs through every one of our businesses.

Adults bringing smiles to children, and children to adults.
Dream makers who connect one smile to the next.

We do more than construct buildings.
We cherish the connections between people, and remain a presence that supports daily life, businesses, and the future.
